£1 Billion to be Wasted on Interstellar ‘Space Jolly’

LONDON— The United Nations has elected to burn through a billion quid on a ludicrous ‘starship’ scheme. This waste of money was approved by out-of-touch bureaucrats and elite ‘scientists’ and promises to line the pockets of fat cats while ordinary Britons struggle to make ends meet.
Cap in hand, the UN is asking for 455 million euros, a billion pounds!—enough to solve many of our problems here on Earth— into building a spaceship straight out of a fantasy franchise. Meanwhile, the NHS crumbles, schools fall apart, and pensioners shiver through winters that ‘global warming’ was supposed to fix. Our dear leaders have chosen to flee into space, leaving us behind to pick up the pieces.
Leading this lunacy is Irish independence agitator Dr Joyce Jamison, a stargazer supremo who thinks it's fine to piss away your hard-earned. Dr Jamison and her cabal of Irish space fanciers argue her ‘starship’ will benefit humanity. How exactly? By sending a select few on a joyride to the stars while we stay here and deal with the real issues?
The project, endorsed by wealthy Eurocrats from every corner of the globe, promises to create jobs for “highly skilled engineers and scientists.” But where does that leave the rest of us? Those without skills? The struggling workers and small business owners? The families that AIs have consigned to the scrap heap? Ordinary Britons just scraping by? We won’t see a penny from this boondoggle. The money will go to elitist universities and their corporate sponsors.
We're told that this money is better spent on a fantasy project that might—just might—benefit some of us centuries down the line. Madness!
Globalist boosters assert that the technology will trickle down to us. Can we trust these claims? History shows us that these innovations rarely benefit the masses; they enrich the few and widen the gap between the haves and the have-nots.
Our government must put the here and now first; put its citizens first. Not throw money into the void of space. Tell your local member; we, the people, demand a halt to this reckless project. We, the people, deserve better!
While the world watches this wild farce unfold, we are emboldened to say ‘enough is enough!’ We will not let the dreams of a few starry-eyed scientists and power-hungry politicians bankrupt our future. It's time to bring sanity back to our spending and focus on what matters: the well-being of our citizens here on Earth.
